SMALL EXTRAS. REAL USE.

The best push-cart accessories
solve a problem.

By Green Era Golf · From the parent side of junior golf

A bottle that stays put. A towel within reach. Less searching through pockets between shots.

I would build this setup a little at a time. Start with the thing that bothers your family during a round, check what the cart already includes, and buy one useful fix. A small price does not make an unnecessary item a bargain.

OUR SIMPLEST FIRST ADD-ON

A small clip-on towel

Example: the microfiber 16 × 16-inch three-pack already in our essentials guide.

Why: easy access for wiping clubs or balls when appropriate. Clip to a suitable bag loop, with enough clearance that it cannot drag or reach a wheel.

Spend less: a small towel you already own may do the job. No need for a branded cart attachment.

FOR DIRTY CLUBFACES

A compact water brush

Example: Jiskan club-cleaning brush with retainer clip and squeeze bottle; the listing describes a 7½-inch brush holding 4 oz.

Why: a convenient cleaning tool if a damp towel is not enough for your routine.

Check: clip position, secure closure and clearance from wheels. Follow your club manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. We have not tested leak resistance or durability.

ONLY IF THE INCLUDED HOLDER FALLS SHORT

A bottle holder that fits

Example to compare: Clicgear XL cup holder. Check the exact accessory version and mount against your cart before ordering; do not treat “XL” as proof it fits every bottle.

Why: keeps the bottle your child actually uses accessible.

Spend less: try the included holder first. The RV3J already includes one. A full oversized bottle also adds weight to the cart.

Add these only when they solve your problem.

Three compatibility traps worth catching.

Keep accessories out of the child’s path and away from moving wheels. Follow the cart manufacturer’s loading and weather guidance. In strong wind, an attached umbrella can make a small cart harder to control.

Our practical buying order.

  1. Use what came with the cart.
  2. Add a towel if there is no convenient one.
  3. Add a brush if cleaning is a recurring problem.
  4. Change the bottle holder only after checking the actual bottle and mount.
  5. Consider storage and weather accessories after a few rounds reveal a need.
